Data Platform engineer

As a skilled Data Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS SysOps, Data Migration Service (DMS), data processing pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), your role will involve managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring data reliability, and delivering scalable solutions for enterprise-level data platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and operate AWS environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability. - Design, configure, and maintain AWS DMS for seamless database migrations and data replication. - Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows for large-scale datasets. - Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate deployment and configuration. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost and performance. - Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and DevOps teams to deliver robust data solutions. - Ensure compliance with best practices for security, scalability, and disaster recovery. **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure and data platform operations. - Strong experience in AWS SysOps administration. - Hands-on expertise in AWS DMS for data migration and replication. - Proficiency in building and managing ETL/data processing pipelines. - Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. - Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. - Exposure to big data tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Glue. You will be required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). The work mode for this position is Onsite at the Gurgaon Office with full-time presence required.,
