Currently, we are looking to fill the position of Data Engineering & Ontology Head. The Data Engineering Head (or Data Engineering Lead/Manager) will be responsible for overseeing a team of data engineers who focus on building, maintaining, and optimizing the infrastructure required for collecting, storing, and analyzing data. Key responsibilities include managing data pipelines, defining data architecture, optimizing data systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing the implementation of relevant tools like ETL tools and big data technologies. On the other hand, the Data Ontology Head (or Data Ontology Manager) will concentrate on organizing and structuring data through a formal system that defines data relationships and categories. This role involves developing data models to ensure a consistent understanding of data across the organization. Key responsibilities include creating data ontologies, ensuring data governance, managing metadata, collaborating with stakeholders, and establishing data standards and best practices. To excel in these roles, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in big data tools (such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, SQL). Leadership skills are essential, including experience in managing teams, setting technical strategy, and driving agile processes. A minimum of 12 years of total experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience, is required. Additionally, knowledge of data lakes, warehouses, pipeline orchestration tools, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are crucial for success in these positions.,
