We are currently seeking applications for the position of Assistant Manager - Underwriting Support. In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise in insurance/reinsurance and underwriting processes to facilitate transactions for the Underwriting Support Teams and engage with the Onsite Team. Your responsibilities will include transaction processing for the Underwriting Support Teams, communication with the Onsite Team, managing Risk Clearance, Bind & Issue, Endorsement Processing, Renewal Processing tasks, and ensuring timely resolution of cases with a focus on customer service excellence. You will be expected to handle varying workloads efficiently, meet targets, process system transactions within the established authority levels, and support Conversion activities as required. Qualifications we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Graduate in any discipline - Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) products - Comprehensive knowledge of the Underwriting lifecycle - Demonstrated customer focus, teamwork, accountability, initiative, and innovation - Proficiency in English language (both written and oral) - Relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications / Skills: - Awareness of the insurance domain - Proficiency in MS Office - Certification in relevant streams such as IIA, Cert CII, AINS, CPCU, or equivalent - Knowledge of P&C insurance, US Underwriting, Policy binding and Issuance, Premium bearing & non-premium bearing endorsement, Renewal & Non-Renewal processes If you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for the insurance industry and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team environment, we invite you to apply for the Assistant Manager - Underwriting Support role at Genpact.
