As a Data Modeler, your role involves designing and creating data models for various information systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that data is efficiently organized, structured, and related within databases or systems to support business processes and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Designing Data Structures: Create logical and physical models that outline how data should be organized within a database or system. - Mapping Data Relationships: Define how different data elements relate to each other to ensure data integrity and consistency. - Developing Data Models: Utilize specialized software tools and techniques to create data models, including entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and relational models. - Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure data models meet requirements. - Ensuring Data Quality: Develop and enforce standards for data naming conventions, data types, and other aspects of data quality. - Maintaining and Updating Models: Continuously monitor and update data models to reflect changes in business requirements and data structures.
