As a skilled Data Modeller with 69 years of experience, your role will involve designing efficient and scalable data architectures for OLTP and OLAP systems, particularly within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, as well as supporting near real-time reporting and application performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for OLTP and OLAP systems. - Apply best practices in data indexing, partitioning, and sharding to optimize performance. - Utilize data modelling tools, preferably DBSchema, to support and document database design. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data structures. - Work with GCP database technologies such as AlloyDB, CloudSQL, and BigQuery. - Validate and enhance database performance metrics through continuous optimization. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in GCP services like AlloyDB, CloudSQL, and BigQuery. - Hands-on experience with data modelling tools, with a preference for DBSchema. - Expertise in OLTP & OLAP data models, indexing, partitioning, and data sharding. - In-depth knowledge of database performance tuning and system architecture. It is beneficial to have functional knowledge of the mutual fund industry and exposure to data governance and security best practices in the cloud.,
