Data Modeler

As an ETL Data Modeler at Value Health Inc, you will be responsible for modeling current and new data, collaborating with key business representatives, data owners, application designers, and data architects. Your typical day will involve utilizing ETL tools like Talend or Informatica to develop and maintain data models for our clients. Your responsibilities include: - Translating business needs into long-term, scalable data models that align with organizational goals. - Developing and implementing physical data models while optimizing existing metadata and data models. - Ensuring data models adhere to relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and company security policies. - Working closely with development teams to create conceptual data models and define data flows. - Reviewing system changes to ensure compatibility across systems and adherence to data governance standards. - Continuously evaluating data systems for discrepancies, inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3 years of hands-on experience with physical, relational, and ETL data modeling. - Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes, including Talend or Informatica. - Deep expertise in data modeling, database design, and data governance. Preferred: - Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. - Candidates with an Epic EHR background are highly desired. - Regular day or afternoon shifts (as per business requirements). - Ability to commute/relocate to Coimbatore. - This position involves working from the office only. - May require occasional extension of work or weekend work to accommodate client requests.
