As a Business Analyst Data Modeler at MetLife, your role is crucial in the Data and Analytics (D&A) organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that data is structured, organized, and effectively represented to meet the needs of the organization. Your tasks will involve designing logical and physical models, implementing robust data models that accurately capture, store, and manage data end to end. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform data modeling activities (Logical, Physical) using the CA Erwin Data Modeler tool - Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements accurately - Analyze data using SQL - Collaborate with other teams to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models - Provide domain-based solutions in collaboration with stakeholders - Implement industry data modeling standards, best practices, and emerging technologies - Develop hands-on experience with API development and integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related tech or business discipline - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CA Erwin - 3-5 years of experience in SQL, data modeling, and data analysis - Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable steps - Understanding of API Design and Ingestion - Strong SQL skills - Hands-on experience with ERWIN tool - Familiarity with Agile best practices - Strong collaboration and facilitation skills At MetLife, we are recognized as one of the "World's Most Admired Companies" and have been listed among Fortune Worlds 25 Best Workplaces.
