In collaboration with the Data development team, you update the architecture and data models to new data needs and changes in source systems What youll be doing: Responsible for planning, deployment and managing the quality assurance and testing for the shared services team Develop and establish quality assurance deliverables and testing framework, including creating and maintaining test plans and test cases in accordance with changing requirements, throughout the development of the Application Software and data services. Create and manage the automated test framework (where applicable) such as preparing the test environment and maintaining functional testing scripts in accordance with the changing Checking data source locations and formats, performing a data count and verifying that the columns and data types meet requirements, reviewing keys and removing duplicate data. Identifying key ETL mapping scenarios and creating SQL queries that simulate them. Each ETL test case should be able to replicate one or more ETL mappings and compare them against real output. Confirming that all data was loaded, and that invalid data was rejected and loaded to the appropriate location (rejects table, etc). Perform thorough testing of datasets, reports, and dashboards developed in Power BI to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
