As a Data Architect at Astellas, your role involves close collaboration with study leads, research scientists, statisticians, clinicians, regulatory experts, and DigitalX professionals to establish and uphold robust data architecture frameworks that align with business objectives, regulatory mandates, and industry standards. Your expertise in Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and governance processes is pivotal in maintaining data integrity, security, and accessibility. By leveraging data, you play a strategic role in advancing the company's mission, driving scientific progress, improving patient outcomes, and introducing innovative therapies securely to the market. Your key responsibilities include managing data operations on AWS architecture, overseeing ETL processes, ensuring data quality, and automating data loads. You will collaborate with internal and external teams for data curation, cataloging, and metadata management. Proficiency in RWD assets and data sources like IQVIA, SYMPHONY, and OMICS sources is crucial. Enforcing data governance, information management policies, and maintaining data security are essential aspects of your role. Your proficiency in Python, Django framework, web technologies, RESTful APIs, and database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL will be highly valuable. Moreover, you will identify areas for improvement in analytics tools, participate in concurrent projects, ensure optimal RWD Analytics environments, and drive process improvements initiatives. Collaborating with Advanced Analytics Solution teams, you will design and implement impactful solutions aligned with long-term strategies. Your problem-solving skills, Agile methodology experience, and excellent communication abilities will be key in successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
