As a Support Advisor at Ameriprise India LLP, your primary responsibility will be to assist financial advisors in the U.S. in creating and delivering comprehensive financial plans for their retail clients. This role involves working closely with advisors to ensure that the financial plans are not only thorough and compliant but also tailored to meet individual and household-level needs. Your key responsibilities will include inputting data into financial planning tools such as NaviPlan and MoneyGuide after carefully examining clients" financial documents and advisor inputs. You will be expected to generate reports using approved planning tools and continuously upskill yourself in U.S. financial planning concepts to effectively discuss and prepare plan strategies and suggestions with advisors via phone or email. Additionally, based on the clients" financial situations, you will be required to document advice in the format specified by the advisors and prepare detailed financial plans within defined turnaround times and quality metrics. This will require you to manage multiple priorities and evolving expectations by collaborating closely with team members and business partners in a focused and responsive manner. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 6 months to 2 years of work experience in the financial services sector, preferably in a multinational environment. A postgraduate degree in Finance, Diploma in Financial Planning, or a graduation in Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, or Business Management with a minimum of 50% marks is required. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, multitasking capabilities, and interpersonal skills are essential for this position. Being willing to work within a team structure is also crucial. Preferred qualifications for this role include exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement plans, and financial planning, as well as cross-cultural competence.
