Data Entry Operator/Computer Operator

As a Data Entry Operator at our company located in Indore, you will be responsible for preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry. You must have a good command of both Hindi and English languages. Your primary tasks will include verifying and logging receipt of data, transcribing source data into electronic formats, and transferring information from paper to computer files using various tools such as keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners. To ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, you will be required to perform high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other software applications. Additionally, you will review data for errors, missing information, or discrepancies and resolve them promptly. Maintaining a filing system, protecting confidential customer information, and performing regular backups to ensure data preservation are also vital aspects of the role. As a successful candidate for this position, you must possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the capability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. You should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and maintain a satisfactory level of quality and productivity according to department standards. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree, although it is not mandatory, along with 1-3 years of experience in data entry or equivalent training. Proficiency in typing with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute, experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word), and CPCT certification are also required. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and a bachelor's degree is preferred for education qualifications. Proficiency in English language is preferred, and the work location is in person.
