Data Entry Clerk

Caprae Capital Partners is a family office investment platform that is tech-enabled. The platform is designed to change the lower middle market PE space. Led by founders/advisors who have grown businesses to 8 or 9-figure valuations with multiple exits along with serial tech entrepreneurs, Caprae invests across technology, finance, and media while building long-term, founder-focused businesses.

Position Summary:

As a Data Entry Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the organization's data. Your primary responsibility will be to input, update, and verify various types of data into the company's systems. You will collaborate with different teams and departments to ensure data is collected and processed accurately, enabling the organization to make informed decisions based on reliable information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry and Verification: Accurately enter data from various sources into the company's databases, spreadsheets, or other designated systems. Verify and cross-reference data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Data Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly review and clean the existing data to remove duplicates, errors, or outdated information. Ensure data is up-to-date and relevant by conducting periodic audits.
• Data Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to identify discrepancies and errors in data entry processes. Investigate and rectify discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Report Generation: Create reports and summaries based on the data entered, providing insights and trends to assist management in making informed decisions.
• Collaborative Work: Coordinate with various departments and teams to collect necessary data and resolve data-related issues. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth data flow across the organization.
• Data Security and Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and adhere to data security policies and procedures.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining data entry processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• System Familiarity: Develop a deep understanding of the company's data management systems and tools, utilizing them efficiently to perform data entry tasks.
• Data Analysis Support: Collaborate with data analysts and other relevant teams to assist in data analysis tasks when required.
• Accounts Payable: Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Maintaining historical records. Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks.

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in data management, computer science, or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related role is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification processes.
• Ability to work efficiently with a focus on meeting deadlines and handling repetitive tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage large volumes of data effectively.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Basic understanding of data security and confidentiality principles.
• Familiarity with data analysis concepts and techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
