Role Overview: At Fidelity, as a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing the next generation Cloud Data Lake and Analytics Platform for Workplace Solutions. Your main responsibility will be to build Power BI and snowflake-based reporting applications as part of the Workplace Investing Reporting and Analytics chapter in India. You will work closely with the Enterprise Data Lake team for data acquisition and collaborate with various business and IT groups throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and integration - Work on building reports in Power BI with Snowflake as the source of data - Develop custom capabilities on AWS - Collaborate with technical partners, developers, and testers as needed - Coordinate with Architects, Analysts, and Product owners to deliver business value - Ensure consistent delivery of functional software sprint to sprint, release to release - Implement original and creative technical solutions - Prepare for QA readiness of software work including end-to-end tests, unit tests, and automation - Support the implementation of initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Reporting & Analytics - Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Snowflake Database - Proficiency in SQL and Performance Tuning with high Volume data - Experience in building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools - Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure - Experience in Power BI or OBIEE is a plus - Experience in Python and automation - Functional/Domain experience of workplace investment plans preferred Additional Details: Fidelity is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for associates with disabilities.
