Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
data models
supporting analytical and operational workloads.
Build and optimize
ETL/ELT pipelines
using
Dataiku
and other orchestration tools.
Implement
data ingestion frameworks
from multiple sources into Snowflake.
Collaborate with Data Architects, Analysts, and Business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable models.
Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, cost, and scalability.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained across all layers.
Support automation, monitoring, and documentation of data processes.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise:

Strong experience in
Data Modelling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical)
and
Dimensional Modelling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
.
Hands-on experience with
Snowflake
(warehousing, performance tuning, security, data sharing).
Strong proficiency in
Dataiku
for pipeline development and orchestration.
Advanced
SQL
and
Python
coding skills for data manipulation and automation.
Experience with
data integration frameworks
,
ETL tools
, and
APIs
.
Understanding of
data governance
,
metadata management
, and
data quality frameworks
.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with
cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
.
Exposure to
CI/CD
,
Git
, and
Agile methodologies
.
Knowledge of
BI/Analytics platforms
(Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
