Data Engineer - Sr ETL Developer (Architect)

As a Senior ETL Developer (Architect) at NTT DATA, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into target systems. You will collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify data needs, and resolve issues in real-time. Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data - Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues - Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes for timely and accurate data delivery - Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability - Implement data quality checks and validation routines for data integrity - Document ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows for transparency - Work with data architects and analysts to understand data models and business logic - Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables - Support production deployments and post-deployment validation - Respond to customer queries and incidents related to data issues or ETL failures - Maintain version control and change management for ETL scripts and configurations - Provide extended coverage for global teams, especially in different time zones - Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams for handovers and status updates - Be available for late-day meetings, demos, or support calls - Perform after-hours data loads and batch processing - Handle urgent data fixes or escalations during the evening hours Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in SQLs, PL/SQLs [Procs, Functions] - Expert level knowledge of ETL flows & Jobs [ADF pipeline exp preferred] - Experience with MS-SQL [preferred], Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, MySQL - Good knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Mart - Good knowledge of Data Structures/Models, Integrities constraints, Performance tuning, etc. - Good Knowledge of Azure ADF pipeline - Good Knowledge in the Insurance Domain (preferred) - Total Experience: 10-20 years At NTT DATA, you will be part of a $30 billion global innovator of business and technology services, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
