Job Description

As a Data Engineer specializing in AWS and Redshift, you should have 7 to 8 years of industry experience in data engineering, data science, business intelligence, or a related field. Your knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strength in data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing/lakes. - Design and administer databases using various RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc. - Architect data solutions using AWS products including Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, Spark, Hive, etc. - Utilize advanced SQL and query performance tuning skills. - Build data products incrementally by integrating and managing large datasets from multiple sources. - Code with modern programming or scripting languages such as Python, Scala, Java, etc. Qualifications Required: - 7 to 8 years of industry experience in data engineering, data science, business intelligence, or related field. - Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles. - Experience with data modelling, ETL development, and data warehousing/lakes. - Database design and administration experience with various RDBMS. - Experience architecting data solutions with AWS products, including Redshift. - Advanced SQL and query performance tuning skills. - Experience building data products incrementally and managing large datasets from multiple sources. - 2+ years of coding experience with modern programming or scripting languages. - Ability to understand and decipher legacy code built on Ruby on Rails is a plus.,
