Job Description

Role: Data Engineer Scala

Role Overview:

Data Engineer (Scala)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data processing solutions using
Scala and PySpark
Build and maintain robust
data pipelines
for large-scale data processing
Work closely with
clients and stakeholders
to understand data requirements
Perform data transformations, validations, and performance tuning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and documentation

Mandatory Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in
Scala
Solid experience with
PySpark / Apache Spark
Experience in
Data Engineering / Big Data development
Ability to work as an
Individual Contributor
Excellent communication skills for
client-facing interactions

Good to Have:

Experience working with
AWS (any services like S3, EMR, Glue, etc.)
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms
