Data Engineer

As a talented Snowflake Developer at the company, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data storage and retrieval solutions within the Snowflake platform. You will need to have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, strong SQL skills, and experience in implementing Snowflake best practices. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will gather requirements, design data models, and optimize performance for data-driven applications and client interactions. It is essential that you have experience working in an Agile manner to execute projects effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing ETL pipelines using SQL and other technologies such as Apache Airflow, Apache Nifi, or Talend. - Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data transformation and loading into Snowflake. - Designing and implementing data models in Snowflake, including schema design and optimization. - Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures. - Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse performance using Snowflake tools and other monitoring tools. Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL, and data modeling. Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform and related tools. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash is desirable. Experience with data integration patterns such as CDC, ELT or ETL. - Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. - BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / IT. Good to have: - Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and associated data integration and migration technologies such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory. - Exposure to the Insurance domain.
