Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with BigQuery, Airflow, and strong programming skills in Java or Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines on

  GCP

• Build and optimize datasets using

  BigQuery

• Implement workflow orchestration using

  Airflow / Cloud Composer

• Write efficient, production-ready code using

  Java or Python

• Optimize BigQuery queries for

  performance and cost

• Work closely with analytics, data science, and product teams
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures in production

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience with

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Hands-on expertise in

  BigQuery

• Experience with

  Airflow

  (preferably GCP Composer)
• Strong coding skills in

  Java OR Python

  (any one mandatory)
• Advanced

  SQL

  skills (especially on BigQuery)

Good to Have

• Experience with Dataflow / Dataproc
• Knowledge of GCP security and IAM
• Experience handling large-scale data and complex transformations
• Exposure to data governance tools on GCP
