About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines on GCP using services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc. 2. Support data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes for structured and unstructured datasets. 3. Participate in performance tuning and optimization of existing data workflows. 4. Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable data delivery. 5. Document code, processes, and architecture for reproducibility and future reference. 6. Debug issues in data pipelines and contribute to their resolution. Basic understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and version control systems (e.g., Git). 4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. 6. Prior internship experience in a data engineering or related role. 7. Experience with GCP-native tools like BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, or Apache Beam. 8. Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Cloud Composer. 9.
