Description
In the role of a Data Integration Engineer at GLG, you will be a crucial part of the Data Integration team that plays a central role in the company's digital transformation journey. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and system integrations to facilitate seamless data flow across enterprise systems, enabling operational efficiency and informed decision-making. Your proficiency in Workato or similar integration tools along with experience in Workday integrations will be key assets in this role. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork within a global environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, manage, and automate data integration workflows using Workato. - Design and maintain integrations between Workday ERP and other enterprise systems. - Build and optimize ETL processes for accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading between systems. - Implement and manage APIs, web services, and middleware solutions. - Monitor integration processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. - Ensure data integrity and security across integration points. - Communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and automate repetitive tasks. Required Qualifications: - Experience: 3+ years in data integration, ETL development, or middleware engineering. - Proficiency with Workato or similar integration platforms. - Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Workday Studio, Prism Analytics, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, etc.). - Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and API development. - Proficient in SQL and one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java). - Familiarity with JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP APIs. - Excellent communication skills and experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
