Data Engineer I/II

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for managing and operating Tableau, Tableau bridge server, Databricks, Dbt, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, AWS DWS, AWS APP Flow, and PowerBI. You will closely collaborate with customers and team leads to ensure the efficient management of the cloud data platform. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshooting incidents and problems by collecting logs, investigating root causes, and resolving issues such as failed batches and infrastructure connectivity - Knowledge Management: Creating and updating runbooks as necessary and managing entitlements - Governance: Monitoring configuration changes to batches and infrastructure, updating documentation, and aligning resources accordingly - Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for customers off-site, managing escalations, isolating issues, and coordinating with off-site resources while ensuring stakeholder expectations are met - Change Management: Coordinating resources for on-demand changes and collaborating with stakeholders when needed - Request Management: Handling user requests, updating runbooks, and creating new knowledge base articles as required - Incident Management and Problem Management: Conducting root cause analysis, proposing preventive measures, and recommendations for enhancements or changes Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field - 2-4 years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing Tableau, Databricks, and SQL-based data analytics solutions - Proficiency in Tableau, Tableau bridge server, Databricks, SSRS, SSIS, AWS DWS, AWS APP Flow, and PowerBI - Ability to read and write SQL and stored procedures - Experience with AWS - Strong analytical and problems solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate technical information and ideas to others - Capability to work collaboratively in small groups and promote inclusiveness (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.),
