Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

  • Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets using PySpark/Spark.

  • Design and implement data models, manage schema changes, and ensure data quality.

  • Integrate data from various sources into centralized repositories or data lakes.

  • Implement and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business data requirements.

  • Collaborate on data architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalability improvements.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data processes; ensure data reliability and integrity.

Use Kafka for real-time data ingestion and streaming.

Manage version control and deployment with Git and CI/CD practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Programming Languages: Python, Scala

  • Big Data Tools: PySpark / Spark

  • ETL Development: End-to-end data pipeline design and automation

  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

  • Data Modeling: Strong understanding of schema design and normalization

  • Orchestration & Workflow: Apache Airflow

  • Messaging / Streaming: Kafka

  • Version Control: Git

  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem
