Job Description

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development
: Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and frameworks using
Azure Data Lake Gen2
.
ETL/ELT Workflows
: Implement robust workflows leveraging
Databricks
and orchestrate jobs with
Apache Airflow
.
Data Modelling
: Apply advanced
dimensional modelling techniques
to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Deployment
: Deploy solutions using
CI/CD pipelines
for seamless integration of data engineering solutions.
Quality & Reliability
: Ensure high data quality and system reliability through automated testing, deployment, and monitoring practices.
Collaboration
: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into scalable engineering solutions.
Healthcare Focus
: Leverage domain expertise in
US Healthcare provider space
to design data solutions aligned with clinical and operational needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with
Databricks
and
Python
.
Expertise in
Dimensional Modelling
and
Data Warehousing
concepts.
Proven experience with
Azure Cloud services
(Azure Data Lake Gen2, CI/CD pipelines).
Solid understanding of
ETL/ELT workflows
and orchestration tools (
Apache Airflow
).
Experience working with
EHR/EMR data
in healthcare environments.
Knowledge of
US Healthcare domain
, particularly provider workflows and data standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated testing frameworks for data pipelines.
Familiarity with monitoring tools for data reliability and performance.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
