Data Engineer Associate(CP4D)

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and execution of ETL workflows within CP4D and IBM DataStage under guidance from senior engineers, ensuring reliable data movement.
• Translate defined business and technical requirements into structured data pipelines with a focus on accuracy and operational consistency.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure integrity and security throughout data ingestion and transformation.
• Follow established data governance and security policies to ensure compliant use of enterprise data assets.
• Support database and schema updates by coordinating with platform and integration teams and documenting related configurations or structural changes.
• Assist in routine performance monitoring for DB2 Warehouse Gen 3 and Watson Query, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts for data models, ETL logic, and operational workflows to support evolving analytics needs.
