Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for data integration across multiple sources.
Implement and manage enterprise data architecture including data lakes, warehouses, and integration frameworks.
Work on cloud data engineering tools and services such as
Azure Data Factory
,
Databricks
,
Synapse
,
AWS Redshift
,
Lambda
, and
S3
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Data Scientists, and BI Developers to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Optimize data workflows and ensure performance, scalability, and data accuracy.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering and pipeline development.
Strong proficiency in
SQL
and programming in
Python
.
Hands-on experience with
AWS
or
Azure
data engineering tools (e.g., S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
Experience in database design, data warehousing (Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse), and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience building end-to-end data ingestion pipelines or data lakes.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA).
