Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
data pipelines and ETL processes
using
Databricks
,
BigQuery
, and
SQL
.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Develop and manage
data models
, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
Support analytics and reporting teams by providing clean, well-structured data sets.
Troubleshoot and resolve data issues across multiple environments.
Interact directly with
clients
to gather requirements, present deliverables, and manage expectations.
Ensure compliance with
data governance
and
security standards
.

Preferred candidate profile

5 to 8 years
of experience as a
Data Engineer
or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in
SQL
(advanced querying, optimization, performance tuning).
Hands-on experience with
Google BigQuery
and
Databricks
.
Proficiency in
ETL/ELT design
,
data modeling
, and
pipeline orchestration
.
Experience with
Python
or
Scala
for data processing is a plus.
Familiarity with
cloud environments
(GCP/Azure/AWS) preferred.
Excellent
client-facing communication
and
problem-solving
skills.
Ability to work independently in a
hybrid work environment.
