As a Lead of Backup & Recovery Administrators, you will be responsible for providing 24x7 Production Support, handling escalated incidents and critical tickets, and anticipating risks/impacts on the Production Environment. You will also manage and report performance dashboards with Capacity Planning, design, migrate, and upgrade existing Backup Infrastructure, and create target backup schedules and operational plans. Additionally, you will be involved in designing media retention plans and media management processes, ensuring appropriate scheduling of backup jobs, preparing backup reports, and installing and configuring backups. The ideal candidate for this role should be a Level-3 Backup & Recovery SME and Administrator with expertise in Veritas Netbackup and L2 skills in Commvault Netbackup. You should have good knowledge of data duplication, deduplication, and replication concepts, backup and recovery planning and implementation, media management, vendor coordination, troubleshooting complex problems, and complex production support experience. Proficiency in Backup Solution Server/Client installations, patching, upgradation, advanced documentation skills, recovery of Backup Server from failure, change management planning and implementation, disaster recovery support, backup tool migration, and HP Data Protector Backup is essential. The candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in the field.
