Data Developer

You are an experienced SAP Native HANA Developer with a strong ABAP knowledge, who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom developments in SAP Native HANA DB using SQLScript, Table Functions, CVs, and Data Base Procedures. You will work on building and maintaining ABAP components to ensure scalable and optimized performance, as well as analyze and optimize the performance of resource-intensive programs and database objects. Root cause analysis, debugging complex issues, and providing long-term impact resolution will be part of your responsibilities. As a Developer SAP Native HANA at Airbus, you will operate within an international, distributed, and multi-functional team using agile methodologies. Your role will involve engaging directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver quality outcomes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and work with Skywise and Palantir Foundry tools to support integrated data solutions and contribute to your professional development. To qualify for this role, you should be a graduate with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in SAP Native HANA DB development. You must have solid hands-on experience in ABAP, including performance tuning and debugging, and a strong understanding of SAP HANA development tools such as HANA Studio and Web IDE. Experience with performance monitoring and optimization of HANA DB programs is essential, along with familiarity with version control tools like Git. In addition to technical skills, strong communication and analytical skills with a customer-centric mindset are required. Proven experience working in international teams with cross-functional collaboration is also desired. Exposure to programming languages like Python, PySpark, HTML5, and JavaScript is a plus. As part of your learning opportunity, you will gain exposure to Skywise/Foundry Tools and technologies, including custom data pipeline design using Python and PySpark, use of Foundry Code Repositories for version control and collaboration, interaction with Walter for data ingestion from SAP and non-SAP sources, and ontology for defining and managing structured data models. Soft skills such as strong customer interaction and communication skills, a proactive mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability, and the ability to work effectively in distributed agile teams are crucial for success in this role.
