Data Compliance Specialist

As a Trust/Compliance & Safety Manager at Sutherland, you will be responsible for ensuring the entity's compliance with laws and regulations, preventing illegal activities, and promoting integrity within the organization. Your role will involve: - Safeguarding the entity from non-compliance with laws and regulations - Protecting the entity from using resources for illegal activities - Establishing and maintaining effective compliance risk management and control systems, regulatory monitoring and reporting, and sanctions - Providing timely advice on relevant changes in the regulatory environment - Assessing customer risks, investigating transaction patterns, and reporting irregularities - Fostering a culture of compliance - Ensuring all employees are trained on laws and regulations - Collaborating with operational and sales stakeholders to ensure teamwork and compliance with regulations and laws - Reporting high compliance risk issues - Keeping the regulatory calendar updated and meeting deadlines Qualifications for this role include: - A minimum of 5 years of related experience - Risk management experience - Experience in managing relations with regulatory bodies - Advanced knowledge of applicable regulations in the region Skills required: - Ability to assess compliance and prepare required reports - Ability to interpret and analyze data, and problem-solve - Ability to manage interpersonal relationships Education: - Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field Your expertise and leadership skills in this role will contribute to the overall success of Sutherland in unlocking digital performance and delivering measurable results.,
