Data Centre/ACI

As an experienced DC / ACI Level 3 (L3) professional with 6 to 8 years of experience, you are required to have a strong command over Cisco Data Center products such as Nexus 9000, Nexus 3000, Nexus 7000/5000, and Cisco ACI. Proficiency in Cisco ASR 9K (IOS XR), Cisco ASR 1K (IOS/IOS XE), and routing/switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MST, PVST, and L2 switching is mandatory. Your responsibilities will include possessing a broad technical knowledge of R&S, Data center components, and their planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization. You should have architectural knowledge of virtualization tools, capacity planning, and expertise in Cisco routing/switching technologies like IOS, IOS-XE, XR, and NX-OS. Hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills in Nexus and ACI Networks, VXLAN, and ACI are mandatory. Experience in Legacy to ACI Migration, different DC Architectures (DC-DR, Active-Active DC), ACI Multipod, Multisite, and PBR will be advantageous. Familiarity with L4-L7 load balancing, firewalls, IP/MPLS, and Cisco SD-WAN fundamentals will be additional strengths. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating technology strategies and architecture approaches to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers. Certifications such as CCIE (preferred) and CCNP are required. Functional requirements include the ability to design DC networks, handle escalations, configure, and troubleshoot Nexus devices and ACI. You will be responsible for supporting plan events, migrations during PE windows, and assisting the L2 NOC team with escalations. Your communication skills should encompass conflict management, negotiation, presentation/demonstration, and written communication with cultural sensitivity, goal alignment, learning agility, and virtual/remote training capabilities.
