Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and implementing data center solutions encompassing Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity, fabric infrastructure, and storage networking. You will be expected to utilize automation tools and scripting languages such as Python to manage data center operations efficiently and address any issues that may arise. Implementing security systems and protocols to safeguard data center operations will also be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will be involved in integrating Cloud technologies into the existing data center infrastructure, contributing to and leading RFPs and proposals related to Data Center and Automation in a collaborative environment involving Delivery, Solutioning, and Sales teams. You will also be responsible for training both internal teams and client/partner teams on select Data Center & Automation topics, which may occasionally require short-term onsite travels based on business requirements. To excel in this role, you should hold certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or their equivalents. Your technical skills should cover a deep understanding of data center technologies, including ACI, VXLAN, OTV, EVPN, and fiber channel protocol. Proven experience in data center management, automation, and orchestration is essential, along with a fair understanding of scripting languages like Python for automation tasks. Excellent communication skills will also be crucial for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
