Your new team belongs to Production Logistics, a part of Group Trucks Operations (GTO), focused on delivering logistics solutions with operational excellence for the Volvo Group. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deliver digital solutions using analytics and automation tools to empower logistics and supply chain operations - Drive Agile IT Change Management for transportation systems - Research new technologies and methods in advanced data analytics and data visualization - Explore opportunities in ML, AI, automation, and big data for innovation in logistics network design - Proactively inform and manage changes in logistics network design using internal and external data - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement change requests in IT systems - Lead regression testing efforts post-deployment to ensure existing features perform as expected - Act as a change leader by facilitating adoption of new technologies through education and coaching Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field - Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL DB) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries - Experience in ETL processes for data integration and transformation across multiple systems - Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, PowerBI) and Microsoft PowerApps products - Hands-on experience in a programming language used in data science applications (e.g., Python or R) - Familiarity with IT system change management processes and regression testing - Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively - Ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams across different time zones Additional Company Details: Group Trucks Operations is responsible for all production of Volvo, Renault, and Mack trucks, engines, and transmissions, as well as spare parts distribution globally.
