The position of a DB developer is currently open for Oracle Golden Gate developer and DBA roles. As the Candidate, your primary responsibility will involve implementing and supporting Oracle Golden Gate replication components across multiple databases. You will collaborate closely with various application teams to establish near real-time replications using Golden Gate, along with providing operational support. Key Responsibilities: - Configuration and development of Golden Gate Extracts/replicates for various databases. - Setting up error handling mechanisms for restarts, logging, production support, and status reporting within Golden Gate. - Documenting and implementing best practices for efficient operations. - Troubleshooting and optimizing the performance of Golden Gate replications. - Developing monitoring scripts for Golden Gate using UNIX/PERL scripting. - Offering Golden Gate Solutions and engaging with Oracle on SRs for critical issues. - Demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL Server. - Proficiency in SQL Server Installation, Configuration, Backup, Recovery, and Security management. - Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills. - Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate technology.
