Back End Developer - Python

You will be joining a dynamic team that is focused on revolutionizing the subscription economy. With pre-seed funding from leading investors, our mission is to streamline the subscription experience, making it easier for users to discover and manage subscriptions. By providing user subscription data, multiple login authentication, distribution, and one-click subscription checkouts, we aim to empower users to participate in the subscription economy and drive the adoption of new subscriptions. Our core team comprises talented individuals with diverse backgrounds, including alumni of prestigious institutions like IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta, as well as professionals with experience at top startups such as Swiggy, McKinsey, and Barclays. As an experienced Python developer, you will play a key role in our engineering team, focusing on the development of our mobile application. Your responsibilities will include writing and testing scalable code, developing back-end components, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of object-relational mapping, server-side logic, and proficient knowledge of Python programming. Being one of the early members of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to shape the application and systems from the ground up. We expect you to be adaptable, proactive, and willing to take on various responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with development teams to define application requirements - Write scalable code using Python programming language - Develop back-end components and implement business logic - Integrate user-facing elements through server-side logic - Create restful APIs for seamless mobile front-end integration - Test, debug, and prioritize feature requests - Implement data storage solutions and monitor online traffic - Coordinate with front-end developers and deploy applications in AWS cloud - Reprogram databases for improved functionality and performance Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience in Python, Django, Mongo, Express, MySQL, etc. - Proficiency in building high-volume, low-latency applications - Agile development experience with continuous integration/deployment - Knowledge of multi-process architecture and threading limitations in Python - Experience in deploying applications in AWS cloud - Ability to collaborate and work independently - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institution Skills: - Python - Django,
