The Lead Technical Analyst, SAP BASIS & DB Administrator plays a crucial role in interpreting business requirements to design and develop high-quality solutions. This includes adhering to proper design principles and ensuring system stability, performance, and flexibility. You will be responsible for designing solutions that meet exact functionality, performance, robustness, and systems integration expectations. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering high-quality solutions within set timeframes, in alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as solution delivery dates and service-level agreements. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support for the VISY SAP environment, address production issues, recommend and implement solutions as needed, and research/implement relevant OSS notes. Responding to incidents and problems, you will develop technical solutions and processes in accordance with service level agreements and key performance indicators. As the ideal candidate, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Proficiency in managing SAP systems on both Unix/Linux and Windows platforms is mandatory. You should possess a solid understanding of system monitoring tools, performance tuning, and all administration aspects in various SAP solutions. Familiarity with commercial and IT business best practices, along with problem-solving and technical skills, is essential. You are expected to have hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including ECC, Gateway, BI, and various operating systems and databases. Knowledge of database administration, particularly MSSQL and SAP HANA, is crucial. Experience with cloud-based SAP environments like AWS and Azure is preferred. Strong documentation skills and the ability to provide specialist advice in a complex environment are key requirements for this role. Key Technical Skills: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration - Database administration for MSSQL and SAP HANA - Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP software products - SAP system monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning - SAP transport management, client copies, and system refreshes - Disaster recovery planning and execution for critical SAP systems - Automation of system administration tasks using RPAs or scripting languages - Security strategy development and implementation for SAP BTP - Business process review and re-engineering - Knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) or similar ticketing solutions - Project management skills and familiarity with DevOps methodologies - Continuous learning and staying updated with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities Certifications in any admin-related SAP solutions are preferred for this role.
