Data Associate – AI Data Quality and Verification Associate Intern

About the Company

We are a fast-growing AI solutions company that automates responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) from customers, with a focus on sustainability, compliance, and product specifications. Our systems use advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models to generate accurate, context-rich responses. To maintain the highest quality, we are building a human-in-the-loop data team to support and improve AI output.

About the Internship + Full-Time Opportunity

This is a 1-month internship program for fresh graduates who want to start a career in AI support, data quality, and document review.

• During this internship, you will learn how our AI workflow functions, including how information is extracted, organized, and reviewed for accuracy. You will also get an introduction to how AI models improve through feedback, how RAG-based systems retrieve information, and how data quality affects the final answers.
• You will work with sample datasets and example documents to practice reviewing extracted content, correcting system mistakes, and checking AI-generated answers.
• Your learning speed, communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured processes will be monitored throughout the internship.
• Candidates who perform well will receive a full-time offer for the Data Associate role, where they will begin collaborating directly with QA and tech teams.

Key Responsibilities 1. RFI Question Extraction & Verification

• Identify and extract questions from customer-submitted RFI documents (PDFs, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Categorize and structure questions accurately under the guidance of domain experts
• Ensure completeness and clarity of extracted data

2. Digitized Document Format Review

• Review digitized versions of documents for formatting errors, misinterpretations, and incomplete data capture
• Make corrections and annotate issues to improve data quality for the AI training process
• Assist in maintaining metadata such as document type, language, and structure

3. AI Answer Review

• Evaluate answers generated by the AI model based on accuracy, relevance, and clarity
• Highlight incorrect, ambiguous, or missing responses and suggest better alternatives
• Tag responses as Verified / Needs Review / Incorrect based on defined quality standards

4. Reporting & Collaboration

• Document and report issues found during data extraction, verification, or AI output evaluation
• Communicate clearly with development and QA teams to relay edge cases or repeated issues
• Assist in creating feedback loops to help the AI system learn from human corrections

Qualifications Required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot mistakes.
• Basic analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Good command of English language – both written and comprehension
• Comfortable working with documents in various formats and using basic tools (Google Docs, Sheets, PDFs,MS Office tools)

Preferred

• Familiarity with ChatGPT or other AI tools is a plus
• Interest in AI, document processing, or quality control
• Interest in understanding how AI improves through feedback.
