Data Architect (Apache Nifi)

Role Overview: As a Data Architect at EdgeVerve Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving data architecture related client workshops, internal meetings, and proposals. Your strong understanding of NiFi architecture and components will be instrumental in designing high-level data pipelines for Apache NiFi and the AI-NEXT platform. You will be responsible for ensuring database performance, data quality, integrity, and security, while also optimizing and troubleshooting NiFi workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Client Architect to conduct data architecture workshops and drive internal meetings - Utilize your knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, and Avro to design data pipelines - Coach and create a data strategy and vision for the larger team, providing subject matter training - Implement data governance principles and best practices, including database design, data modeling, and Cloud architecture - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NiFi with other systems, databases, APIs, and cloud services - Guide the team in solution implementation and partner with internal product architect, engineering, and security teams - Support the pre-sales team for Data Solutions and ensure adherence to data governance and security best practices - Optimize NiFi workflows for performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise Qualifications Required: - Strong organizational and communication skills - Experience with NiFi architecture and components - Knowledge of data formats like JSON, XML, and Avro - Familiarity with data protocols including HTTP, TCP, and Kafka - Understanding of data governance principles and data quality - Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and Cloud architecture - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes Disclaimer: EdgeVerve Systems does not engage with external manpower agencies or charge any fees from candidates for recruitment.
