Data Annotator

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing documents, processing and converting files, indexing and tagging, and preparing data for AI and Machine Learning. Your key responsibilities will include: - Organizing Documents: - Identify key documents such as invoices, insurance certificates, and contracts. - Set up a structured folder system for easy access. - Processing & Converting Files: - Use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to make scanned documents readable. - Convert messy or unusable files into a structured format. - Extract important data using document parsing tools. - Indexing & Tagging: - Add metadata tags to make future searches easier. - Preparing Data for AI & Machine Learning: - Collaborate with the AI/ML team to structure data for automation. - Provide suggestions for best practices for document storage and access. Qualifications required for this role: Must-Have: - An engineering degree. - At least 2-4 years of experience in document management, records management, or construction documentation annotation. - Strong skills in PDF management, OCR tools, and file organization. - Experience in various annotation projects such as data summarization and annotations, and working on OCR data (both images and text). - Familiarity with storage tools like Dropbox, SharePoint, or similar platforms. Good to Have: - Knowledge of data extraction and document management tools. - Experience with Excel, Power BI, or database management. - Understanding of machine learning data preparation. - Familiarity with LLM, RAG, AI annotation platforms.,
