Data Analytics Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics & Business Intelligence to lead our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of deep expertise in data science, analytics, business intelligence, dashboard development, automation, and team leadership. The role will focus on delivering scalable data solutions, actionable insights, and automation of BI processes using SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI, Python, Excel and other tools. Key Responsibilities- - Lead BI and analytics initiatives, including a team of analysts and developers. - Design and implement robust data models, ETL pipelines, and SSIS packages. - Manage end-to-end reporting solutions from data ingestion to dashboard delivery. - Drive automation of daily/weekly/monthly BAU reports using SQL, Python, Excel, and VBA. - Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and stories in Tableau and Power BI. - Conduct ad-hoc analysis and generate business insights using machine learning models. - Handle vendor payout calculations, incentive reports, and billing automation. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Finance) to define KPIs and decision support frameworks. - Conduct BI tool training for internal teams across SQL, Tableau, Excel VBA, Power BI, etc. - Lead technical implementation projects like Tableau and SQL Server integration. - Ensure data governance, quality, and accuracy across analytics systems. - Integrate and analyze mobile app performance metrics from App Store Connect and Google Play Console. -Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as installs, crashes, store conversion rates, reviews, ratings, retention, and churn to support the Product and Marketing teams. -Use store analytics and third-party platforms (e.g., Firebase, App Annie, Sensor Tower) to generate actionable insights for improving app performance and developing growth strategies. Key Projects- Successful migration of BI infrastructure, including Tableau and SQL Server. - Full automation of upsell incentive payouts and intraday reporting. - Led the analytics workstream for new product launches like Starlogik (missed call service). - Delivered Market Mix Modelling (MMM) and lifecycle analysis for campaign effectiveness. Required Skills- - Languages & Tools: SQL Server, SSIS, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, Access, VBA, Advanced Excel, SAP BO - Data Modelling & ETL: Strong experience designing data pipelines and models from scratch - Automation & Scripting: Excel VBA, Macros, SQL scripting, Outlook integration - Analytics: Root Cause Analysis, ARPU, lifecycle, segmentation, forecasting - Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving -App Store / Play Store analytics: Familiarity with App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Firebase reporting, and third-party app intelligence tools. -KPI monitoring: Experience with app lifecycle metrics (e.g., downloads, uninstalls, retention curves, crash rates) to drive business and product decisions. Preferred Qualifications- - Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field - Certification in BI tools or Data Science is a plus
