As a Sr Analytics Engineer at Illumina, you have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the global mission of expanding access to genomic technology for billions of people worldwide. You will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions that directly impact human health by enabling early disease detection, diagnosis, and innovative treatment options. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and design interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools. - Build and optimize dashboards to provide in-depth data exploration and analytics capabilities, ensuring actionable insights are delivered for data-driven decision-making. - Utilize expertise in SQL for data extraction and analysis and leverage advanced Python skills for data manipulation and automation. - Integrate Python/ML for advanced data processing, automation, and seamless integration with reporting platforms to streamline processes and enhance analytics workflows. - Continuously monitor and improve the performance of reporting systems, ensuring data integrity and scalability. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and visualization to enhance reporting capabilities and drive continuous improvement in reporting efficiency and user experience. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong expertise in SQL and proficiency in Tableau and Power BI. - Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud-based databases like Snowflake. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. - Experience in developing interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, familiarity with cloud databases, and conducting exploratory data analysis to guide stakeholders in data-driven decision-making.
