Job Description

As a Data Analyst for the Firmwide Data Office department at Morgan Stanley, you will play a crucial role in the multi-year effort to simplify the firm's data architecture front-to-back. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing guidance on data management and governance concepts to business, operational, and technology teams - Supporting the delivery and maintenance of the firm's Global Data Quality Policy - Implementing data quality best practices and rules to mitigate data-related risks - Ensuring regulatory requirements related to data are met - Supporting queries on data cataloguing and extracts, Self-Serve Dashboards, Metrics, and Reports - Performing root cause analysis on data issues and suggesting solutions - Documenting new requirements for Reporting Services To excel in this role, you should have: - At least 2 years of relevant experience in enterprise data management and data quality principles - Experience in stakeholder management - Familiarity with data visualization technologies and data analysis tools - Nice to have skills include experience with data lineage tools, metadata management tools, Agile methodology, Python, APIs, and finance regulatory drivers.
