Data Analyst

You are an Intermediate Data Analyst responsible for interpreting complex data, deriving actionable insights, and facilitating data-driven decision-making within the organization. With 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, you excel in SQL/Python/R and are proficient in visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Collaborating with diverse teams, you translate business inquiries into analytical solutions effectively. Your duties encompass various aspects of data analysis and reporting. This includes extracting, cleaning, and analyzing extensive datasets to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies. You create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to convey insights clearly to stakeholders. Moreover, you adeptly write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, ensuring optimal query performance and accuracy. Utilizing intermediate statistical techniques like regression and clustering, you apply statistical models to address business challenges. Additionally, you support A/B testing and hypothesis validation processes. Proficiency in Python/R for data manipulation and automation, along with utilizing BI tools for self-service analytics, are integral parts of your role. You collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor performance metrics, documenting processes and presenting findings to non-technical audiences. Your qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of data analysis experience, preferably in a specific industry. Technical skills required encompass advanced SQL knowledge, familiarity with Python/R for analysis, and expertise in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Experience with Excel, cloud platforms, and soft skills like problem-solving and critical thinking are also essential. Desirable skills include knowledge of ETL processes and tools, exposure to machine learning concepts, and familiarity with version control or agile methodologies.
