Data Analyst - Blockchain Intelligence

Role Overview: As a Blockchain Intelligence Analyst, your primary role will involve collecting, analyzing, and reporting on intelligence leads related to cryptocurrency exchanges and fraud. Your expertise will be crucial in turning data into actionable insights, collaborating with experts from academia, industry, and law enforcement to develop scalable systems for detecting, preventing, and mitigating cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze user behavior on various virtual asset service providers by performing OSInt and extracting relevant information about the platforms. - Develop pipelines using Python and other technologies to support data analysis. - Assist product and analytics teams in constructing data pipelines and business logic. - Devise strategies to counter concealment measures employed by service providers, such as captchas and closed group invites. - Forge partnerships with third-party data vendors, research organizations, and anti-cybercrime groups. - Monitor online forums for cybercrime intelligence. - Produce intelligence reports for marketing purposes and SAR reports for Law Enforcement Agencies. Qualifications Required: - Prior work experience in intelligence-related roles, preferably in Blockchain Intelligence (not an entry-level position). - Proficiency and expertise in various OSInt methods. - Strong ability to synthesize, interpret, and present complex information clearly and accurately. - Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals. - Proficiency in Python, MongoDB, Neo4j, Cypher, and Git. - Ability to conduct research in languages other than English (languages to be specified in the application).
