As a Blockchain Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on intel leads related to crypto exchanges and fraud. Your focus will be on ensuring top-notch intelligence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights. Collaborating with experts from academia, industry, and law enforcement, you will work towards developing scalable systems to detect, prevent, and mitigate cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive measurable impact in a corporate setting that values precision, innovation, and strategic thinking. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing user behavior on various virtual asset service providers, conducting OSInt to extract relevant platform information, and developing pipelines using Python and other technologies. You will also support product and analytics teams in creating data pipelines and business logic, devise strategies to counter concealment measures used by service providers, and establish partnerships with third-party data vendors, research bodies, and anti-cybercrime groups. Monitoring forums for cybercrime intelligence and preparing intelligence reports for marketing purposes and SAR reports for Law Enforcement Agencies will also be part of your role. To be eligible for this position, you should have proven work experience in intelligence-related roles, preferably in Blockchain Intelligence, and demonstrate proficiency in various OSInt methods. Strong analytical skills to synthesize and interpret complex information clearly, excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential. Proficiency in Python, MongoDB, Neo4j, Cypher, and Git is required, along with the ability to conduct research in another language (languages to be specified in your application). Desirable qualifications include relevant certifications and experience in cybersecurity or intelligence gathering, working knowledge of SQL, a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, prior experience in fast-paced environments or startups, and a track record of publishing research-oriented articles in reputable journals. Occasional travel across the country may be required for project execution, monitoring, and coordination with geographically distributed teams.
