Data Analyst

You will be joining ACA, a company that aims to deliver the world's best GRC software to their blue-chip financial services client base of over 3500 firms. ACA is on a journey to build and deliver The SalesForce of Compliance, as Compliance Officers in finance have been dealing with inefficient, manual processes for their compliance programs. The ComplianceAlpha platform is already deployed at 800+ clients to help modernize compliance efforts with a significant investment in driving technology usage. In this role, your key responsibilities will include collecting, collating, and interpreting data from various application data sources, communicating with team members, stakeholders, and client representatives to understand requirements, migrating and/or re-authoring existing reports across different reporting engines, authoring and editing data visualizations and/or actionable reports based on stakeholder requirements, reviewing report rendering performance, reviewing requirements in the product backlog, and partnering with product, engineering, and IT personnel to align report production and maintenance efforts with quality assurance. To succeed in this role, you must possess self-motivation to deliver software solutions in a fast-paced environment, a willingness to learn and experiment with new data visualization techniques, the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, and clear communication skills to translate complex data into understandable reports. Qualifications for this role include 3-5 years of data visualization and report authoring experience, proficiency in modern reporting engines like Sisense, Logi Analytics, Exago, Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau, familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and experience with version control tools like Git or SVN. Additionally, having a Bachelor's Degree in STEM, experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, proficiency in authoring SQL queries, scripting language skills (e.g., JavaScript), and experience with API data sources, particularly those accessed using the OData protocol, are considered advantageous.
