Key Responsibilities : Responsible for designing the chassis and sub systems. Understand vehicle/sub system functional objectives, inter dependencies and study the packaging, serviceability, plant assembly process/ decking and cost implications. Define appropriate system-level engineering targets to meet function, quality and attribute requirements. Prepare Failure Mode Avoidance activities including DFMEA ensuring all relevant documentation Conduct the resolution of design, attribute or packaging incompatibilities through the appropriate cross-functional meetings. Generate and implement VA / VE ideas to reduce the product material cost. Ideal Candidate : Responsible for designing the chassis and sub systems. 2-5 years of experience in structural design and has been a part of the development of the chassis or other structural parts for a two wheeler. Understand vehicle/sub system functional objectives, inter dependencies and study the packaging, serviceability, plant assembly process/ decking and cost implications. Define appropriate system-level engineering targets to meet function, quality and attribute requirements. Prepare Failure Mode Avoidance activities including DFMEA ensuring all relevant documentation. Conduct the resolution of design, attribute or packaging incompatibilities through the appropriate cross-functional meetings. Generate and implement VA / VE ideas to reduce the product material cost. Relevant knowledge of PLM platforms. Experience with Dassault 3DExperience a plus. Good understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Serviceability (DFS). Well versed with the manufacturing aspects of the sheet metal fabrication, castings / forging. Basic understanding of TQM principles, Quality in Design Philosophy. Basic understanding of FEA analysis. Good knowledge on GD&T and well versed with modelling and drafting of drawings on solid works This is a must. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement digital twin solutions using Omniverse and other simulation platforms. Create detailed 3D models and designs using Autodesk Maya, Revit, 3DS Max, and other tools. Develop and integrate plugins for Omniverse, Prevu3D, and other platforms to enhance functionality. Utilize Siemens Technomatix for plant and process simulation to optimize manufacturing operations. Collaborate with teams to implement solutions using Dassault 3DExperience, UnRealEngine, XMPro, and Unity 3D. Write and maintain code in Python for data analysis, integration, and automation. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in Python programming and developing plugins. Proficiency in 3D modeling and design using Autodesk Maya, Revit, 3DS Max. Experience with Omniverse, Prevu3D, Siemens Technomatix, Dassault 3DExperience, UnRealEngine, XMPro, and Unity 3D.
