Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing TV applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance TV experiences, writing clean and efficient code, debugging technical issues, and staying abreast of the latest technologies and trends in TV application development. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, along with proven experience in developing TV applications for platforms like Tizen and webOS. Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS, media playback technologies, DRM systems, and RESTful APIs is essential. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are also key requirements for this position. Experience with Dash.js, HLS.js, Brightscript, React, and TypeScript will be advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with cross-platform TV frameworks, video streaming technologies, UI/UX principles for large screens, and Agile development methodologies is preferred.
