The Inventory and Purchasing Manager is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring that all inventory is accurate and well-organized. Key Responsibilities: Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs. Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory levels and sales trends. Communicate with suppliers to place orders and follow up on deliveries. Receive and inspect incoming stock, ensuring quality and accuracy. Update inventory records in the store’s system (POS/ERP). Conduct regular stock takes and inventory audits. Reduce waste, shrinkage, and out-of-stock situations. Forecast demand based on seasonal trends and promotions. Collaborate with store managers and department heads for product planning. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
