Position : Engineer/Sr. Engineer- Mechanical system Location : Bangalore Minimum education : BE/B. Tech (Mechanical) Industry : Building Services / Utilities & Plant Engineering / Energy management consultancy Experience : Min 3~5 years related experience on MEP infrastructure system (HVAC, Steam & Hot water, Compressed Air, Water management systems (STP/ETP/WTP) and Fire & Safety systems) Designing, Installation, Testing & commissioning, Project, energy assessment, its performance measurement and report preparation in the commercial building/ Industrial utilities /Manufacturing industries/ Data Center sectors Successfully lead & completed the minimum 3 (Three) MEP infrastructure projects or successfully implemented 2 (Two) energy management projects. A sound knowledge of MEP infrastructure system and its control systems along with the best practices of Design & Installation. Additional capabilities like EPI, EUI, PUE calculation, Star ratings, ROI and payback calculation, and financial modelling of energy management projects. Roles : Will be responsible for Gap analysis & Solutioning of Capacity Utilization, Root cause analysis (RCA) of system Breakdown for Fault and Performance management, Suggesting the technical upgrades, Planning the retrofitting, Defining the SLA with OEM, Providing technical supports to Energy Management for Performance analysis and O&M practice for system maintenance & overhauling of the Mechanical systems Responsibilities : Carrying out site inspections and surveys, Conduct onsite system due-diligence & Analyze performance & utilization of existing Mechanical systems. Collate the Mechanical system data for bench marking its Performance & Utilization as per the industries standard & best practices. Detailed Engineering, Testing & Commissioning and Trouble shooting of Mechanical systems on site. Provide technical support to Customer/Procurement for Mechanical system selection & finalizing specification during the Engineering & Construction phase. Provide technical support to Energy Management team for Performance evaluation & Defining KPI of Mechanical systems on site. Provide technical support to the Operation & Maintenance team for defining SLA, Breakdown & RCA of Mechanical systems onsite with OEM. Conduct the walk-through assessment to analyze and identify the energy saving potential in the existing MEP infrastructure systems through retrofits / upgradation / modernization / digitalization / Automation or energy management practices. Skills, knowledge and abilities: Must have excellent Oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and prioritization skills. Hands-on experience on working & trouble shooting of Mechanical systems like Central Chiller plants- Air & Water cooled, Chilled & Condenser water circuits, Chilled & Condenser water pumps, AHU/FCU, Cooling Tower, Precision Air Conditioner, Refrigerant piping, Raise Floor system, Exhaust & Ventilation fans, Fire Hydrant & pumping system, DG exhaust, Water pumps. Hands-on experience on control & the safeties available in the Mechanical systems mentioned above. Basic personal computer, business software skill and familiarity with reporting tools are added advantage. Basic understanding of various standards like ASHRAE/ISHRAE/IS/CE/UL for Mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret systems and construction documents. Ability to accomplish tasks timely and with minimal supervision. Ability to lead & mentoring a group of Mechanical engineers & interact openly with the OEM. Should be able to work in virtual teams and lead teams as practice expands.
